I hope everybody is doing well!
First things first, the newest/last NAIN ROUGE cd is now available! “The Self Defeatist” features 10 tracks of their finest work, 40 minutes of brutal bliss. Like all full length cds, you can find it in the SHG webstore for $8 postage paid in the USA. The package features hand screened digi-wallets that look fantastic.

In case you were not aware, we replaced the Discography CD Sale with the brand new ‘Mix & Match Sale’. It’s basically the same thing, but with a few other options in case you already have some SHG cds. Buy in bulk and save- buy in big bulk and really save to get cds as low as $3.25 each! Just click on the icon in the right sidebar of the website, or go to the webstore.

The Beast In The Field ‘World Ending’ 2xLP preorder is still still still available! Yes, I know it’s taking a while, but good things come to those who wait. Big thanks to those of you who have already taken advantage, you will not be disappointed.

In sad news, the National Sunday Law CDEP has been cancelled. The band is on indefinite hiatus and its future remains completely uncertain. What they have recorded is truly great and definitely worth checking out. You can download it for free at their blogspot. If you preordered the NSL cd, email me here if you want another SHG cd for free, no worries.

The Antique Scream 7″ has been recorded and will soon be available for preorder. ‘The Chronicles Of Dirty Dick’ will surely leave you feeling filthy and taken advantage of!

I (Mark) will be going on tour with Beast In The Field and Antique Scream for the next 9 days, August 28 through September 5. Check out the dates below and visit us if you can, we’d love to see you. Also, I have SHG stuff with me on the road, but if you order something in the next 9 days, be prepared for a slight delay in shipping as I will be living in a van. We couldn’t wait until Tuesday, so we posted it now! The newest and last album from Detroit’s NAIN ROUGE is now available in the web store. As usual, $8 ppd gets you this powerhouse masterpiece shipped to your door. Also, the first 50 orders get The Self Defeatist CD, PLUS the Live At The Belmont CD that features an entire live performance as well as 3 unreleased tracks. The Self Defeatist features digi-wallets hand-screened with cover and inside artwork by Tim from the band. There is a free mp3 in the news post below for playing and downloading. These CDs are limited to 500 so get yours now!
Also, the Beast In The Field World Ending 2xLP preorder is still available, but not for long!
And in sad news, the National Sunday Law The Fifth Ape CDEP has been cancelled. The band has gone on indefinite hiatus so the CD will not be released here at Saw Her Ghost. If you don’t have a copy of it, you can download a digital version at their Blogspot. If you preordered it, you have received the t-shirt and a CDR version. If you would like to choose any other Saw Her Ghost CD in its place, we’d be happy to send you one.
And last but certainly not least, Lost Coves will finally be here in 2 weeks. Yay!

Hey everyone!
Mean Mother’s brand spankin’ new CD Rock N Roll Shakedown is here! We don’t have the band page up just yet, but the CD is available for purchase in the Saw Her Ghost Releases section of the web store for a measly $8 ppd. The CD features 9 rip-roaring tracks of Motor City riffing and wailing. Fans of Dio, The Hellacopters, AC/DC, BTO, Steppenwolf, and Whitesnake will approve! Album art was provided by legendary Detroit area tattoo artist Sam Wolf.
Also, if you’re a fan or regular reader of Decibel Magazine, check out the August issue that will be on newsstands shortly. The cover was hand drawn by our friend, illustrator Mark Rudolph. Danzig riding a wolf never looked so majestic! Check out Mark’s website here.

You asked for it, so we brought it back. We’ve added an exclusive Beast In The Field Preorder T-Shirt to all of the Preorder options for the Double LP. We don’t have a design quite yet, but we’ll get one within the week. But we can assure you that it will be different than any other they’ve had, and different from the CD Preorder shirt as well. So there you have it, the people have spoken. We’re excited too since all of their merch rules!

So we’ve added a couple new bands to the roster, and we are pretty damn excited! Detroit Rock City’s own MEAN MOTHER will be releasing their sophomore album, Rock And Roll Shakedown, here at Saw Her Ghost. This balls-to-the-wall rock juggernaut is in the mastering stages at the moment, and will be available by June 1.
Seattle, Washington’s ANTIQUE SCREAM will be offering up a tasty 7-inch platter entitled The Chronicles Of Dirty Dick. These three dudes absolutely kill on stage, and Chronicles is their heaviest work to date. This raunch fest will be recorded sometime in June or July.
Both bands will have their own band pages here at the website in the next week or so.

Beast In The Field is preparing to release its magnum opus World Ending on vinyl. We are going to use Kickstarter to help fund it, so all preorders for this release will be done through that. Trust me, there will be some amazing prizes and rewards for those who preorder and donate. Tons of CDs, records, artwork, and one of the coolest rewards of all…
Stay tuned for the Kickstarter launch and subsequent information on how to help, and what you can receive in return. It’s gonna be sweet!

Also, The Nain Rouge, National Sunday Law, and Lost Coves CDs are on their way! Woo-hoo!

Hey friends!
We made it back from tour, and I must say we had a blast! SXSW was awesome, thanks to everyone who participated and everyone who came out, we had a riot. Meeting all of the great bands that we did was great, we ran into some great bands, and great people! But it’s back to the grindstone.
Just a reminder, both the Beast In The Field World Ending CD and the Hellas Mounds New Heaven New Earth CDEP are up and available in the STORE, for $8 and $6 respectively.
Coming in the next week or so, there will also be distro items available as well- lots of vinyl, and a few cds too, so keep your eyes peeled.
I know everyone is wondering about preorders. We had a goof with the shirts, but everything seems to be back on track now, and the preorders will ship by the end of this week, or beginning of next. Anyone who preordered will be taken care of, we promise. You will not be disappointed!
Next we are working on the Beast In The Field 2xLP version of World Ending. That looks to be out around June 15. I’m sure we will do a preorder of sorts for that as well, with some sort of package deal. This will also feature artwork by Mark Rudolph of CV Comics and Decibel Magazine. Lost Coves is also working on a 7-inch record of their own that will feature their new 15 minute opus. And last but certainly not least, we are proud to announce that Saw Her Ghost will be releasing the new Mean Mother CD, Rock And Roll Shakedown! We’re very excited about this and cannot wait! Look out for that very soon!

That pretty much says it all. 66 minutes and 60 seconds of pure unadulterated stoner doom. Recorded live to two-inch tape, World Ending is an instant classic. You can download ‘Sermon Of The Black Order’ from their band page, and then purchase the entire album from the store for $8.00 postage paid. What a deal. Be sure to check their tour dates, as they will soon be wandering the country all the way down to SXSW and back starting March 10. Enjoy.
